ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is an integral part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Its aims are to treat the whole person and restore the balance between the physical, emotional, and mental aspects of the individual rather than specific symptoms in isolation.

Acupuncture brings the body back to a state of equilibrium by the insertion of very fine needles just beneath the body’s surface into acupuncture points that are situated along the meridian energy channels, which then affect and stimulate the systems of the body. Some people decide to have acupuncture to help a specific symptom or condition. Others choose to have treatments to help maintain good health as a preventative form of healthcare or simply to improve their sense of wellbeing.
